A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Mr. Shines has flown jets, trained and competed with Olympic athletes and traveled the world as a business and technology advisor to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 corporations. He has studied under the tutelage of business, technology and quality pioneers such as Drs. W. Edwards Deming and Mikel J. Harry, as well as Crosby Medal recipient Forrest Breyfogle, former Toyota plant manager Jesse Winguard and IT guru Thomas Davenport.
For his leadership, innovative approaches and practical application of business ideas, he has received numerous business and public speaking awards and honors, to include the prestigious IBM Golden Circle (twice), the Ernst & Young Reengineering Award, and US Air Force Management Engineer of the Year.
